(SAMPSON COUNTY, NC) – The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has arrested Newton Grove Police Chief Greg Warren. The Sampson County Sheriff's Office requested the SBI’s assistance regarding allegations they received, and the SBI initiated an investigation. As a result, Warren has been taken into custody on the following 7 felony charges:

·       1 Felony Count of Indecent Liberties with a Minor

·       2 Felony Counts of Secret Peeping (G.S. 14-202(e))

·       4 Felony Counts of Secret Peeping (G.S. 14-202(g))

Warren is being processed at the Sampson County Detention Center and will have a first appearance this week. The Investigation is ongoing, and no additional public information is expected.
