                                                     MISSING MORGANTON TEEN FOUND SAFE IN CHARLOTTE

Raleigh, NC – On Sunday, August 23, 2020, Wyatt Brian Meyers, 13, of Morganton was reported missing from his home by his parents.  The Burke County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).  Special Agents from the SBI’s Northwestern District and Special Agents from the Criminal Apprehension Team found Meyers on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, around 11:50 pm at a Charlotte apartment complex in the University area.  Officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department were also on hand as we located the teen.  The teen was unharmed and was reunited with his parents.
