1/11/2016

FAYETTEVILLE – A drug trafficking investigation by Special Agents with the SBI’s Southeastern District Office has resulted in the conviction of a Fayetteville man.

On Friday, Cayle Marcus Coleman, 37, pled guilty to trafficking in heroin and received an active sentence of eight years three months to 13 years five months.  Coleman will serve his sentence at a North Carolina Department of Corrections facility.

Coleman was arrested by SBI agents in October of 2014 and charged with multiple drug trafficking related charges.

At the time of his arrest, law enforcement considered Coleman to be the biggest trafficker of heroin in Cumberland County.

In December 2015, Coleman was again arrested and charged with drug trafficking by investigators with the Fayetteville Police Department. Those charges are currently pending.
