Indoor Marijuana Grow Seized in Henderson

RALEIGH - The operation of an indoor marijuana grow in Henderson has ended with the seizure of 93 pounds of marijana and the arrests of two men.

Jorge Colina, 37, Henderson, and Manuel Colinas, 29, Knightdale, were arrested for trafficking and growing marijuana and other related charges late Tuesday. The searches and the arrests were conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation, Alcohol Law Enforcement, Henderson Police Department and Vance Sheriff's Office.

An ongoing investigation led law enforcement to execute the search warrants at 180 and 239 County Acres Drive. Jorge Colina resides at 180 County Acres Drive. The indoor grow was located at the other address.

The marijuana plants were an average of four feet in height and the street value is estimated at $325,000.

Both men are housed in the Vance County Jail under $105,000 bond.
