FAIRFIELD – The State Bureau of Investigation has arrested Tiffaney Webber, 25, of Fairfield, with two counts of murder and she is currently in the Pamlico County jail with no bond.

On June 1, the Hyde County Sheriff’s Office responded to a possible drug overdose at a Fairfield home and found the bodies of Ryan Edward Gibbs, 23, and Sarah David Reams, 16. The sheriff’s deputies found evidence of drug use and requested the SBI’s assistance.

Investigators learned that the victims had requested, obtained and used a drug they thought was cocaine. Preliminary results indicate Fentanyl was contained in the drugs that Tiffaney Webber had provided to Gibbs and Reams.

The investigation is on-going, and additional arrests are expected.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Hyde County Sheriff’s Office, 252-926-3171, or the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, 252-756-4755.
