CCH/Triple I Processing Unit

The CCH/Triple I Processing Unit verifies and maintains the Criminal History Data for all Live Scan fingerprint submissions that are electronically added to the Computerized Criminal History File (CCH). Contributor modifications for Live Scan fingerprint submissions and mailed-in fingerprint submissions are manually entered by the Processing Assistants in this Unit. State and federal records are reviewed and compared, records are identified and verified as belonging to North Carolina and we take ownership of those records. Daily Triple I messages are received and processed by this unit. This unit also makes modifications and/or deletions for CCH to the NIST Archive system. The CCH/Triple I Processing Unit is responsible for processing incoming mail and disseminating to the appropriate personnel within the CIIS Section.
