The Special Operations Division is under the supervision of Assistant Director Jerry Ratley.
The Special Operations Division performs specialized investigations, oversees the DCI Module, Special Response Team, performs fingerprint identification, training for
Agents and Non-Sworn Personnel, provides a collection of surveillance services
and assists in rendering safe explosive and transportation of explosive
ordinance.
Through a specialized Intelligence Section, the Special Operations Division
also provides analytical expertise and investigative support to the Field
Division and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. There are eight Specialized
Sections within the Special Operations Division. They are as follows:
