JOINT INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST OF MORRISVILLE MAN ON SEXUAL EXPLOITATION CHARGES

 

Raleigh, NC – On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, Special Agents with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation’s (SBI) Computer Crimes Unit arrested a Morrisville man on sexual exploitation charges after a joint investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations - Raleigh, the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and the SBI through our partnership with the North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.  Eric Werner Johansson, 57, was arrested at his home and charged with nine counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.  Johansson is currently being held at the Wake County Detention Center under a $750,000 secured bond.
