SBI Offers Reward for Man Wanted on Trafficking Charges

A Winston-Salem man is still on the run after his accidental release from the Forsyth County Detention Center in January 2014. At the time, Poindexter and four others were in-custody for trafficking heroin by transportation and trafficking heroin by possession, in addition to other charges.

Terrance Douglas Poindexter, 29, last resided at 520 Hemingway St. in Winston-Salem. Poindexter is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed approximately 256 pounds at the time of his release.

The State Bureau of Investigation is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the capture of Terrance Douglas Poindexter. The SBI district office in Greensboro can be reached at (336) 256-1362.
